Project
Background

In 2020, the Sprint Business Transformation & Analytics team reached out to Weber Associates with an urgent request for an informational brochure. The purpose of the brochure was to outline the key topics for an innovation and technology summit hosted by Sprint. Due to a strict print deadline, the project took place over a period of three weeks from ideation to final artwork approval.

Process

As design lead for this project, I was responsible for graphics, page layout, content revisions, and print files. I also recommended the final format, settling on a saddle-stitched landscape booklet with stepped pages.

As the Sprint team developed content, I set out to create a visual direction for the entire brochure. I created two concepts, using yellow and blue with black and white imagery for the first (left). The second concept was rendered in grayscale with abstract yellow accents.

The team liked elements of both concepts, so I merged the two designs into a third concept. I added abstract illustrations to separate sections of the brochure. After we finalized the content, I refined the concept, incorporating more imagery.

The final brochure met the print deadline, and all 200 attendees of the conference received copies. The final page count of the brochure was 60 pages with six main sections. The brochure consisted of 16 custom infographics, and 44 sourced and purchased images.
